The short version
Some links on softzen6.top are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or buy, we may receive a commission. You never pay more because of it.
What that does and does not affect
- Does not affect which tools we list. Tools with no affiliate programme at all appear here, including free and open-source ones.
- Does not affect ranking or rating. A commission does not move a tool up a list or earn it a better verdict.
- Does not affect what we say. If a tool is weak, we say so, affiliate link or not.
- It does fund the site. Commissions are how we pay for hosting and for the paid plans we buy in order to test them properly.
How to spot them
Outbound links to a tool’s pricing or signup page should be assumed to be affiliate links unless stated otherwise. Links to documentation, research, or news are not.
Why we publish this
Disclosure of material connections is required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and is simply the right thing to do. If you would rather not use an affiliate link, search for the tool’s name directly — it costs us a commission and costs you nothing.
